The Wet Bandits were formed when George and Ryan were in their freshman year....They wanted to be in a band together but George didn't play an instrument so he picked up the bass. Starting out by covering crappy pop songs with out drums, they eventually wrote some of the Wet Bandits songs such as "California" and "Corrupted Society." They later started playing with Chris Fraly on guitar and changed the name to Shortness of Stature. Chris Hillard and Brian Wisniewski joined the band playing horns, under this name. In time Brian and Chris Fraly both left the band leaving them with no drums, a guitar, a bass, and a trumpet. So began the desperate search for percussion. They found it for a short time from Brett Brown. Upon his entrance to the band, the name was changed yet again to Front Foot Forward. He soon left the band leaving them again drummerless. Seth Williams agreed to practiace with them until they could find a drummer and helped write some new songs such as "Life Cycle." Eventually the band found Chris Stockner, who still plays drums with them now. Like us, he still didn't like the name of the band and it was again changed to the Crackerjack Kings. They played a couple of shows under that name then finally changed the name to The Wet Bandits. Soon Brian Donaldson and Erik Syzmanski picked up the horns and practiced with the band a few times, but left the band before they played any shows. The band found Alan and Jason soon after and thats where the band is today.
